DESCRIPTION

Yaesu FT-897 is one of the most popular compact Yaesu transceivers. The receiving and transmitting parts of it are similar to the FT-857 model. The transmission power is up to 100 watts for HF and 6 meters, up to 50 watts for 144 MHz and up to 20 watts for 430 MHz. Installed DSP. Due to the larger size of the case, there is room for an internal power supply or 2 batteries.
