It is modular, so it can provide beginners with basic information and professionals with detailed data. The MyChron 4 has an inductive engine speed sensor for 2- and 4-stroke-engines, and a lap timer that can be triggered by a GPS, IR-transmitter, or magnetic strip. During a race, the MyChron 4 shows the driver important information in graphics and big digits, and provides 90% of the mechanical information directly over the display. The MyChron 4 turns itself on when the engine starts, and off after eight minutes of inactivity.
