Description

The TP1 is a radio powered by battery designed by Dieter Rams in 1959. The object adopts Rams' minimal and functionalist philosophy with a clean and simple appearance, which will be the starting point of his subsequent projects for Braun. It won the Supreme Award in London in 1961.The object is actually made up of two elements: a radio and a turntable.The two main components of the TP1 are made in polystyrene, the phonograph is wrapped at the rear and side by a single folded aluminum plate which gives rigidity.
