As a 3D artist, I am passionate about creating models that capture the unique features and style of anime characters. That's why I decided to create an anime girl model using Blender, a powerful 3D modeling software.
To begin, I carefully sketched out my design and gathered reference images to guide my process. Then, I used a combination of sculpting and polygon modeling techniques to create the various parts of the character's body, including the face, hair, and clothing.
One of the biggest challenges I faced during this project was balancing the level of detail with the model's performance. To optimize the model's topology, I created clean edge loops and avoided triangles and n-gons. This approach gave me more control over the character's movements and made it easier to animate the model.
After completing the model, I added three separate animations to showcase its versatility. I included an idle animation, a walking animation, and a waving animation. These animations helped bring the character to life and demonstrated my ability to create both 3D models and animations.
The anime girl model is available with or without a rig, making it a flexible asset for various projects. It has a total of 5,880 vertices, 11,659 edges, and 5,850 faces, with 11,544 triangles. Additionally, it has been rendered from three orthographic angles: front, right, and scene collection.
Overall, I am thrilled with the final result of this project. By using Blender and paying close attention to the topology of the body, I was able to create a high-quality anime girl model that is both professional and eye-catching. Whether used in a video game or an animated film, this model is sure to bring any project to life.
