Morty is a low polygon model create for use in 3d animation. The mesh has been optimized to make it easier to rig and texture. The UVs have been flattened and unwrapped to make it easy to texture. The default scale is quite small, so it may need scaling, depending on the software ans settings. Morty is based on a character from one of my favorite animated series. Morty may also be used for 3d printing, with a little more work and a good pose. The model was originally created and recreated to improve design and to add a bit more personality to the sculpt. The polycount is approximately 8635, so not as low as it could be, but just high enough to support certain details.
An updated Blender version of the model, with a simple armature has been added. The mesh has been revised into mirrored halves, making it easier to revise and update the model and assigned weights. The rig includes better skin weights, including a simple IK/stetchy leg setup.
