Since the file is originally created in Blender, I expect artifacts in 3ds Max, but this model is way above my expectations. Both obj and fbx files are importing seamlessly. Perfectly crafted details standout even with viewport shading. You may have to set the correct orientation in obj file. yz axes are different in 3dsmax. One more thing: You'll also have to apply some scaling by setting the import units. Otherwise the object comes either gigantic or microscopic. Scale modification causes the bone helpers appear larger, as they don't get scaled by unit setting So either re-rig or find an alternative solution. Model is great. Like most other robot models from this artist.
