Complementary earth tones, particularly greys, lend a compelling atmosphere to this model. Rich detail shows in the clothing and armor pieces. The skin and facial expression, particularly the cold eyes, suggests a warrior who's battles did not end at death, and now fights on. There are extensive download options for this model, although I personally only use the object (.obj) and texture files for an open world OpenGL game, so am limiting technical comments to those. The textures are consolidated to three graphics files, armor, body, and weapon. There are three different skin folders offering options on these, for instance a cold blueish skin texture vs a deep red demonic skin texture. For OpenGL there is a strict limit on the number of texture files in a project, so having just three texture files instead of the twenty or thirty files, as is often the case for character models, saves consolidation work. The object file is organized mainly by armor areas, with the entire body skin area in one group (vertices 29772 - 110268). This could have been broken down further though, as it is I'm using trial and error to build various body part vertex groups for OpenGL animation. The object file contains a total of 259533 vertices, or 86511 triangles. This is substantial, but common for high quality character models. As a developer buying character models is risky, as they tend to be expensive, large, and unreliable in quality. This modeler has proven quite reliable, if a bit expensive for some models. An ominous form to give other adventurers pause when encountered in a dark woods, and a great example of the imaginative and extensive model offerings by Palasky.
