Krampus is a half-goat, half-demon figure from Central European folklore who is said to accompany St. Nicholas on December 5th to punish children who have been naughty: AppearanceKrampus has long horns, claws, and a goat-like beard. He is sometimes depicted wearing a cloth sack around his waist and chains around his neck, ankles, and wrists. RoleKrampus is said to beat children with branches or sticks, or kidnap them in his sack. In some cases, he is said to eat them or take them to hell.
