enshirō (ケンシロウ) (Ken for short) is the main protagonist of the Hokuto no Ken manga, anime and related media. He is a martial artist and the 64th successor of the Hokuto Shinken style and considered one of the greatest successors in its 1,800 year history.

Kenshiro spends his days wandering the wasteland, in search of his lost love Yuria. He fights evil and injustice as he goes, killing the wicked and the cruel wherever he finds them. Kenshiro is violent and uncompromising, but he is not cruel, and rarely gives into his wrath.
