Description

Kappas are creatures (Yokai) that lived at the river site in older Japanese periods. They love Sumo wrestling and eating cucumbers. Many Kappas are described as evil creatures and used to attack people that got to close to the river, were the Kappas were luring in the grass or in the water luring for them. But there are also reports of Kappa that helped people and even formed deep friendships with people. On their had there is a dent that always needs to be filled with water.

  • The 3D model has been remeshed to consist only of quads

  • Own design inspired by Japanese Batagur Baska turtle that resembles Kappa in some old paintings
