This project showcases a highly detailed four-legged fantasy creature designed with an arcane aesthetic. Sculpted in ZBrush with a high-poly count of 2.15 million polygons, the model was meticulously retopologized in Maya to 3,050 polygons for optimized real-time performance. The details, including sharp claws, rugged scales, and intricate surface patterns, were entirely sculpted without additional material layering. To enhance the visual depth, textures were hand-painted in Substance Painter, allowing for precise control over the model’s unique coloration and wear. A custom shader setup in Arnold (Maya) was used for final rendering, refining the creature’s mystical appearance with stylized lighting and shading techniques.
