Akama’s head and face mask from World of Warcraft

This model is Akamas head and also a wearable mask of his face ready for 3D printing. The model is sculpte. The helmet is quite big and is meant to be post-processed. You also have to drill holes to put a string through, so it holds on your head.

Files contain pieces of the mask ready to be 3D printed and complete mask files, that are not cut into smaller pieces. They also include Akama’s full head as an object, that is not a wearable mask.

It is good to make it bigger and then add cushioning to the inside for a snug and comfortable fit.

PRINTER SETTINGSAs the mask is quite big, it is meant to be post-processed. We recommend a layer height of 0.2 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the masks shell parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure, that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
