Heroic male ecorche for anatomy study, Rest pose + Dynamic pose
I've studied human anatomy for a few years now, and the hardest part to learn is how the muscles overlap and connect onto the bones and tendons. In this sculpt, I tried to really enhance the muscle insertion points for ease of understanding. The dynamic pose is designed to show the muscles in their multiple states, extending and supinating on one side while flexing and pronating on the other.
Sculpted in ZBrush from base mesh created in Modo (base mesh also included as .obj). Model has 5 levels of subdivision, going from 11,540 polygons up to 2.953 million. ZTL file Includes teeth, eyes and base subtools. There is polypaint on all subtools to differentiate tendons and gelatinous regions from muscle fibers, you can view it by clicking on colorize in the tool subpalette under polypaint tab.
Bonus - includes two 3D print-ready meshes, rest and dynamic pose - modified, decimated and ready for 3D print at whatever scale you choose.
No UV's or textures. Models are provided for the purpose of education and non-commercial use. Would love to see what you use it for.
Cheers.
