Description

This is a high quality, high poly rigged model that was modeled in Blender 3.1 and textured in Substance Painter 2022. The model is split into 4 materials (texture UDIMs) and they are all available in 4K resolution and TGA file format.

USAGE

This model aims to be a semi-realistic looking human eye. It is intended for cinematic, pre rendered footage, performance heavy usage, background and design visualization. Renders were done in Blender Cycles. In addition, this model is applicable for seamless close-up shots due to its 4 texture UDIMs and high poly count.

GENERAL
  • The mesh object was centered on the scene.
  • Mesh transforms (scale, rotation, location) were reset to their respective uniform values.
  • There is one object on the scene itself.
TEXTURES
  • The textures provided for download are in 4K and 512, in TGA format.
  • The model uses 4 materials (4 UDIM tiles).
  • Textures come in a few presets: UnityURP, UnityHDRP, UE4, PBR Metallic Roughness.
  • High quality UV unwrap, no visible seams, makes use of all texture space available.
FILES & DOWNLOADS

Upon purchase, the next files will become available for download:

  • preview_scene.blend - the preview scene where the store page renders were made.
  • Human Eye Textures.RAR - a 300MB .RAR file containing all textures presets as described in the textures section.
  • human_eye_high.FBX - The (highpoly) model in FBX format (has 25,000 vertices).
  • human_eye_low.FBX - The (lowpoly) model in FBX format (has ~1,500 vertices).

  • human_eye_high.OBJ - The (highpoly) model in OBJ format (has 25,000 vertices).

  • human_eye_low.OBJ - The (lowpoly) model in OBJ format (has ~1,500 vertices).

  • human_eye_high.gltf - The (highpoly) model in GLTF format (includes textures).

Disclaimer: This model is not intended for 3D printing and may not look as intended after printing, however, the files for doing that are available.

  • human_eye_high.STL - The (highpoly) model in STL format.
  • human_eye_low.STL - The (lowpoly) model in STL format.

The base textures are brown-eyed, however, in the available for download preview_scene.blend file the Iris textures have a HSV (Hue / Saturation / Value) node attached. This node lets you change the hue color of the iris. In the scene its set to blue by default.

The model is subdivide-able.

The model is rigged.

The eye's rotation can be changed by moving the LookAt bone that is positioned in front of the cornea.

The pupil size can be changed by scaling the pupilScale bone that is positioned right infront of the pupil.
