The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 was unveiled in China on November 21, 2019. Retractable sills have been installed, similar to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. The second row of seats moved away to the rear of the body and became more spacious, due to the fact that the third row of seats was removed. There are two versions available: with a three-seater sofa, which is heated and electrically adjustable, and two separate comfortable chairs, between which there is a massive console, in which are hidden cup holders, a refrigerator and wireless chargers for gadgets. In the basic configuration of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, second-row window blinds, a panoramic roof and separate climate control are installed. The salon is made of high quality and genuine leather. A modified version of the Mercedes-Benz M177 engine, which is installed on the GLS 580, was installed as the engine. An interesting fact: in China this version is sold under the GLS 680 index, due to the fact that the number eight in China symbolizes wealth and prosperity.
