A seven—seat crossover developed by the prestigious cars division of the Japanese automaker Nissan - Infiniti. It was introduced in April 2012 in the USA as a model of the 2013 model year. The company announced the new car in April 2011, simultaneously revealing its name. Later, Infiniti talked about the new engines, as well as where the finished crossover will be shown. The concept version debuted in 2011 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and the production model was presented at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. The car is based on the extended Nissan D platform, the JX is also the first full-size Infiniti crossover with three rows of seats. In 2012, Nissan announced that the mid-size Nissan Pathfinder SUV would be on the same platform as the 2013 model year JX.
