UAZ-469 and UAZ-3151 are Soviet and Russian cargo—passenger cross-country vehicles (SUVs), primarily for military purposes, produced at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.
The main commander's car in the Soviet Army, as well as in the Warsaw Pact countries, since the mid-1970s, replaced in this capacity the predecessor of the GAZ-69. Serial production of the UAZ-469 and UAZ-469B models began in December 1972, before that, starting in 1964, several pilot-industrial series were produced.
