Description

This is a historical structure, built in the 1700's on Estate Whim. It is one of many Watchhouses built on Sugarcane plantations. It is said that the enslaved women kept their babies there while working in the cane fields and it was said to be used to watch the fire when the sugar cane fields were set afire after harvesting.
