simple model of a shock absorber for .blend file:there is a collection named backup . there is a copy of the spring which the screw modifier is not applied and you can change the spring depending on your project . in order to make the model a little bit more simpler !!! there might be some mesh that you might have to use multiple materials for one object to get better result .
