Orbitron Custom Hot Rod 3D model

Tribute to The Orbitron, a Kustom Kar made in 1965 by Ed Roth. Roth created many beloved cars in the 60s and 70s, as well as the Rat Fink comics. The real Orbitron was lost for a long time after being purchased by a travelling carnival, then found again in Juarez outside of an adult bookstore. It was refurbished and brought back to its former glory by Galpin Motors and is on display in Kentucky.This 3d model captures the sleek blue futuristic galaxy car, including it's interior with the built in television and gas pedal reading Moon. The bubble top opens at the front for entry and there are two hoods outlined in white stripes. The shag carpet interior was created using a normal map texture (it could be done using a hair simulator but that takes a lot of processing power to generate).
