• Let me present to you high-quality full detailed hi-poly smoothable 3D model Moskvich-401, Russian passenger car was created in the USSR since 1954 year. This model can be used in various fields 3D Graphics such as game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, etc... • All details of design are recreated most authentically.
• The well topology of the model allows using any smoothing modifiers. Parts of this model you need to smooth in subdivision level 1 or 2 for the best result, but parts named NO_SMOOTH do not need to smooth because this parts is not designed for use any smooth modifier and for save polygon count and best performance. For quick select smoothable meshes in Maya use “Smooth” Display Layer, choose “Select Objects” and use smooth modifier.
• Polygon count of non-smooth model is – 141055, and with smooth level 2 (without NON SMOOTH parts) - 1163480.
• The model uses 22 materials (15 simple colored and 7 textured). Textured materials use Diffuse, Specular, Glossiness, Bump textures in various combinations. For the best Bump depth we set Bump Multiplier is 1.2 for Bottom_Color_mat and Chassis_Color_mat, 0.2 for Flooring_Texture_mat, Stretch_Ceiling_Texture_mat and Upholstery_Texture_mat, 0.9 for Front_Lights_mat and 0.3 for Texture_mat in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya. All textures and materials named correctly.
• The total of the main textures is 12. Resolutions of all textures are from 512 to 4096 pixels square aspect ratio in .png and .jpg format. Also there is original texture file .PSD format in separate archive.
• The model has a simple rig for open the doors and front wheels turn control by steering. If you want to open the door please translate “Door_Controller” in Z-axis. If you want to turn front wheels please translate “Swerve_Controller” in X-axis. Animation for other parts of the model is due by rotation conformity groups and meshes.
• In .max, .fbx and .obj formats model has no rig but has bake animation of all movable parts. If you want to animate model in other programs except Maya you need to create your own rig. For help there is a Playblast animation of steering gear.
• The model was created in the 'Maya 2014' 3D program. If you need to open this model in earlier version of Maya use .fbx format.
• The model has correct dimensions in real-world scale in centimeters. Dimensions of real car is L385,5cm x W140cm x H152,5cm (L152” x W55” x H60” inches). All parts grouped and named correctly.
• Also, there is a prepared render-scene created in the Maya 2014 with renderer plug-in V-Ray 2.40. This scene opens correctly in earlier versions up to the Maya 2012 with V-Ray 2.0 because it is saved in the .ma format. Render-scene includes 6 V-Ray Rect Light + reflectors. The V-Ray MTL materials are assigned to model. On Timeline was set animation keys for model and Render Camera position relevant Preview Images. If you don’t need these positions don’t forget to delete animation keys from translation and rotation channels.
• In addition we have rendered this model in other scene with HDRI lighting for more visual realism demonstration and a better understanding of materials characteristics. HDRI scene is not included for sale.
• To use the model in other 3D programs there are scenes saved in formats .fbx, .obj, .DAE, .max(2010 version).
