Some time ago I was able to scan this beautiful owl statue. It stood in a small park and was carved from an oak tree that was destroyed by a lightning strike.

The model can be used in two different resolutions. The HIGH model consists of about 5 million polygons and has the best surface details. The low model consists of only 250000 polygons and is better suited for use on weaker equipment.

The fine details in the model are best seen in residual prints.
