This necromancer's crypt and sacrificial altar is a rebuild of one of my earlier pieces, which I was unhappy with due to poor sculpting, texturing and lighting. Due to the complexity of the original I rebuilt all the individual elements separately, cleanly sculpted custom high-polys within 3ds Max before reassembling. I then edited the UV's accordingly in Photoshop and re-mapped them to the geometry. Additional sculpting in Mudbox was used to carve the pentagram into the altar.
The crypt has three 2845 x 2845 maps; Albedo, Normal, and Roughness compatible with a PBR workflow.

A brief bit of lore about the altar was added to the renders alongside the texture maps to give some context to where the inspiration for the piece came from, and where it might be used in a game environment.
