This is a Traditional Kerala style Nilavilakk(Floor Lamp) often found in religious environments in Kerala, India. I made a fairly high poly 3D Model of this Nilavilakk because I couldn't find a good model online. This is a Traditional type of lamp used in Kerala, India. It is very often associated with religion. People pray in the evening after lighting up such a lamp. A cotton thread is dipped in coconut oil in the top section of this lamp and lit. That is how it is used in this place called Kerala, which is in India. It is a part of the Kerala/Malayali culture. Especially in certain communities, such lamps are used for praying to God. It is also a very good piece of architectural decorative items. It is often made of Brass but some people prefer gold. It looks like a decorative item but is not just a decorative item, but also a part of the culture. I could not find a better model of this anywhere so that is why I made this so someone will find it useful. Specialities of this 3D Model include:
Highly Detailed mesh
Good Topology
Realistic Materials and Textures
Realistic proportions
