Description
SoleCity urban LED luminaires.
DESCRIPTION OF LAMP POSTS:
- Manufacturer: Signify - Lumec.
- Models SoleCity ULS100 (UBS100-1A) and SoleCity ULS100 (UBS100-2).Height 4.8 m / 6.1 m.The manufacturer also supplies luminaires with a height of 9.1 m. They are not included in the archive, but they are easily obtained by changing the length of the mast (objects with the name “Post…”).
- LED Light Column SoleCity ULLC100Heights: 3.1m; 3.7m, 4.9m, 6.1m.
- Bollard LED SoleCity ULB100Height: 1 m.
- For all luminaires:Protection degree IP66.Light source LED 3000K, 4000K.
FEATURES OF MODELS:
- Each lamp is assembled into a separate group. Similar objects are cloned as Instance.
- Each object has its own unique name.
- Each material has its own unique name.
- The pivot of each lamp is in the center of the object at the bottom point (coordinate Z = 0).
- Each lamp post is made in the actual manufacturer's dimensions.
- Most of the objects are made for subsequent mesh smoothing.
- The stack of modifiers of objects in .max files is not collapsed.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
- For close views, if there are not many lampposts, it is recommended to use the default models.
- For distant or medium views, it is recommended to reduce mesh smoothing iterations to 1 or 0 (default is 2).
- To drastically reduce the detail and reduce the load on the computer, you can remove the diodes (the reflector and outer glass will remain) and screws.
- Also, to reduce the detail, you can turn off the EditPoly modifier from some objects (the modifier stack is not collapsed specifically for this).
- This makes the models versatile and suitable for close, medium and long range rendering. Depending on the task, you can easily choose the right option.
- For any questions please write in private messages, I will be happy to answer.
MESH DENSITY for 22 different luminaires and 1 human dummy in the scene:
- High detailing of all objects in the scene (enabled TurboSmooth modifier with 1-2 iterations of mesh smoothing + chamfering with the EditPoly modifier) - for rendering at close range. These settings are saved in .max files:
Polygons: 3 072 312.Vertices: 1 641 977.
- Turn off the TurboSmooth modifier, turn off the EditPoly modifier (chamfer rounding):
Polygons: 326 686.Vertices: 306 860.
- Remove diodes (objects Diode_), screws (objects Hexahedron_, Screw_):
Polygons: 209 770.Vertices: 166 532.
