Fully Parametric Wall Based Automatic Double Sliding Door

This is a revit family for a wall based automatic double sliding door. Family is fully parametric. Model can be placed on ony project wall and adjust to the wall’s depth. User controls the width and height of the door, as well as the glass thickness and the door panel frame width. Single parameter to show the sliding door open or closed with any value between 0% and 100%.

Door automatic mechanism is placed directly above the clear height of the door, on the interior face of the wall, creating a void cut into the wall for maintenance access.

Fully Parametric

Almost all aspects of the model can be altered via the parameters available including materials. All parameters are automatically calculated and applied onto the family once placed, making it a valuable family to have in your library, ready to be used with very little setting up. All family parameters are shown below.

Door size is controlled via the available parameters, as well as the glass thickness, and the door panel frame width. The door mechanism is automatically placed on the interior face of the wall. With a percentage instance parameter, users control the visual aspect of the door, shown from completely closed to open.Model can also be flipped between exterior and interior sides for correct placement according to any project needs.
