Fully Parametric Curtain Wall BiFold Doors Panels 3D model

This Fully Parametric Curtain Wall BiFold Doors Panels Revit Family will allow revit users to create bifolding doors on curtain wall panels. Two separate families are included with this product. One for Single Opening ( one sided ) bi-fold door and the other for Double Opening ( two sided ) bi-fold door. Doors are aluminium frame with glass panels.

Door Panels

The family can replace any curtain wall panel and change it to a bi-fold door. Overall width and height of the bi-fold is automatically adjusted to the curtain wall panel opening. Therefore, the user does not have to deal with the overall dimensions.

Revit users can change the Number of Panels from the family parameters to any integer number necessary to reflect the design requirements of the project. Single opening bi-fold doors can take any number from 2 and up whereas double opening doors can take any number from 4 and up.

Opening Panels Angle

Revit users also have the ability to change the opening angle of the panels using a single parameter available with each family. Angle parameter can take any number from 0 degrees ( which corresponds to closed panels ) to 90 degrees ( for fully opened panels ).

Adaptable Panel Doors

The door panels will automatically adjust to the curtain wall panel sizing ( width and height ), and the only parameter the user has to change is the graphical represenation of the opening angle and the number of panels needed. Everything else is taken care of by the family itself.

If needed, users can change the door panels frame width and panel thickness to adjust the panels to the exact project requirements.
