This article deals with the tanks (German: Panzer) serving in the German Army (Deutsches Heer) throughout history, such as the World War I tanks of the Imperial German Army, the interwar and World War II tanks of the Nazi German Wehrmacht, the Cold War tanks of the West German and East German Armies, all the way to the present day tanks of the Bundeswehr.

The development of tanks in World War I began as an attempt to break the stalemate which trench warfare had brought to the Western Front. The British and French both began experimenting in 1915, and deployed tanks in battle from 1916 and 1917 respectively. The Germans, on the other hand, were slower to develop tanks, concentrating on anti-tank weapons.

The German Panzerwaffe or Panzertruppe were the men responsible for operating the armored vehicles such as tanks and self-propelled anti-tank guns within the German armed forces. They were known for their black uniforms, and tight fitting, double-breasted jackets, inspired by the uniforms of former Hussars.

although im leaving this as positive i want to give a little warning to those thinking of buying this. even with the model being as high quality as it is for the price it is listed as, there is alot of work to do with the rig itself. ive been spending a couple of hours trying to understand how the rig works but also fixing small errors here and there. to mention some things, there are parts of the fingers and outer arms that the headset and throat mic is connected to that deform the mentioned objects. the .fbx file comes with the parts displaced from eachother and is practically useless, obj is fine but the .blend file is the only file with the rig included and so you have to fix all the issues i mentioned. the part of the rig that is set up correctly is very nice though and has limited zones of movement like a real human has. with this review i hope the creator will fix the issues i mentioned and post an update though, as this is a seriously nice model

A really good model, full of highly authentic detail. I'm very happy with it. I did have an issue setting the model up on my 3d system (3ds Max and VRay), but this was due to a difficulty at my end. The seller responded vey quickly to my request for help, and the issue was resolved - what great service! 10/10 in all respects.
