Fountainmaker Kit - Square Water Surfaces 3D model

This is a collection of ten (10) square, rectangular and hemispherical water surfaces for water fountains and pools. It is accompanied by 29 foam models to fit the various water surfaces. The water surfaces and foams are physically accurate and photo-realistic.

The water surfaces have caustics built into the meshes, so no special shaders with caustics or caustic lighting is required when used. The water surfaces provide physically accurate surfaces with slight ripples as would occur when light breezes pass over a fountain or pool. This package also includes a complete set of foam ripples that can go on top of the water surfaces. The ripples would occur if stronger breezes play across the pool or fountain, and can be placed around collision points as shown in some of the pictures.

To make a water fountain, simply select the appropriate water surface for your fountain, or use one in the Fountain Maker - Basins And Fountains Kit. Apply the appropriate clear water shader to the water surface. Add one or more of the foam pieces to create the effect you desire and apply a pure white blinn or phone shader. That's all there is to it. But do consider add some of the water spray, plumes or spears from the other Fountain Maker Kits.

These models are in *.obj, *.max, *.fbx and Maxwell Render file formats. Maya and other file formats are available upon request.

Max and FBX users can quickly apply the standard Arnold Clear Water or Arnold_Substance Clear Water Shader to the water portions of these files. A simple pure white phone material usually is sufficient for the foam portions of these files. The Maxwell Render package includes the standard Next Limit Clear Water Material and a custom Foam material.
