FountainMaker Kit - Round Water Surfaces 3D model

This FountainMaker Kit contains physically accurate (and photrealistic) water surfaces for round fountains and basins. There are five small water surface disks to fit within typical fountains, plus two medium-size water surface disks (normal and turbulent water surfaces), one large and one very large round water surface disk for larger outdoor basins and water fountains. For those odd-sized hexagon and octagon fountains, there are one hexagon and one octagon water surface disk.

The advantage of these disks is that the caustic light pattern is built into the mesh. To make a good, photorealistic fountain, you place one of these disks into the basin or fountain structure and assign a clear water (or clear glass) shader to it. There is no need for special caustic shaders nor for special caustic lighting. Just put the appropriate sized disk into the fountain, apply the shader, and Go!

This package also includes a set of 21 foam bodies of different sizes and complexities for the surface of the disks. Simply choose ore or more appropriate foam patterns for your fountain, scale it to fit the water surface, assign a pure white or foam shader to it, and you're done.

These models are in *.obj, *.max, *.fbx and Maxwell Render file formats. MAX and FBX users can use the standard Arnold/Substance clear water material, or a water material suitable for the chosen rendering engine. The Maxwell Render package includes the standrd Next Limit Clear Water material and a custom Foam material. Maya and other file formats are available upon request. Substance water and foam material sets available upon request.
