When the MAX file opens, choose adopt file´s gamma and lut settings..., if it asks so.

The OBJ file format is not rigged or animated, only the FBX format is partially rigged and animated. Only MAx file has fur modifier. You can use conversion software to translate the animated MAX file into other formats, or you can ask Cgtrader about that.

You can resize or optimize the HD maps if needed.
