The Cessna 404 is a twin engine propeller drive light aircraft built originally by Cessna. It was the largest of the twin piston engine aircraft built by that manufacturer. The Titan was also developed as a military aircraft as the C-28 and for the Swedish Air Force the TP-87. It was a development of the earlier 402 model with an enlarged tail and larger engines and payload. However it was still a popular aircraft for medical evacuation and transportation, carrying freight “freighter version ” and as a commuter air taxi in the Courier and air taxi version. The aircraft was in production from the mid 1970s. Production ceased in 1982.
