
This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. Some interior cockpit and rear compartment detail is also modeled and textured. Instrument panels and controls are also modeled and textured. The model is fully textured and the materials and textures are provided as shown. This model uses high res materials and textures. The model geometry is available in several formats. The materials and paint scheme are provided as shown. Engines are modeled including a good amount of detail, the four bladed propeller is animated. Landing gear, landing gear doors, ailerons, elevators, rudder and flaps are all animateable. Wheels and tires are also animateable. This model also has an animateable water tank doors.
The Douglas Conair 322 was an aircraft modified from previously produced B-26 Invaders to be used in forest fire fighting as a water bomber. These aircraft had the larger engines like the Marketeer and had the Bombay converted to a water tank with a fast working release valve to bomb fires from the air. These aircraft served all over North America well into the 1990s.
