The P180 Avanti is a radically different design utilizing pusher twin turbo-prop engines. The wing is located at mid fuselage behind the cabin and mounts the twin turbo-prop engines. It features a stabilizer mounted atop the tail and small canards mounted at the nose. Elevators are located on the canards and the horizontal trim is located on the stabilizers. Canards, wing and stabilizers all provide lift and there are no balancing down forces to counteract with this arrangement compared to a standard aircraft plan.
This aircraft is one of the fastest in category and has a pressurized cabin for 9 passengers and two crew. The cabin and fuselage contribute to the lift of the aircraft reducing wing loading. The wing and canards are laminar flow designs reducing drag and increasing lift.
This model is built near to scale. It is a detailed exterior and is fully textured. The control surfaces, landing gear and doors, and propellers are animatable. The model comes complete in several formats with all materials and textures shown.
