The DG-200 is a sailplane of the 15 meter class built by Glaser-Dirks beginning in 1977. Wingtip extensions were added in 1978 making a second version with a 17 meter class wing. This glider/sailplane is of the same generation as the ASW-20 PIK-29 and Mosquito. A total of 192 DG-200 were built. Some later models were built with a carbon fiber spar. The DG-200 was also the version that would be used to build the DG-400 motor glider.
