Description

Cessna 172 is built very near to scale of actual general dimensions. It has many animateable features including ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, retractable landing gear and nose gear doors. Propellers are animated. The engine, engine mount exhaust and intake systems are modeled. The cowling can be removed to show the engine and propeller at a moderate distance. This model is fairly detailed and includes the ELT antenna and pitot tube as well as some interior cabin features and controls. Included are the yokes, throttle and engine controls, new instrument panel and seating. It comes in 8 formats and was updated in February 2017.

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is a four seat, single engine, high wing, fixed-wing aircraft. First flown in 1955, the Cessna 172 is the most successful mass produced light aircraft in history with over 43,000 produced. They have been used as a basic trainer, family transport, air taxi, bush plane, and a wide range of other missions.
