BWB X-Stream BT (Mid Top Wing) one several of my BWB models, is a 6-10 seater plane. The fuselage is broader than normal and has massive storage capacity and a wide cockpit and great cabin space. The nose is wider because it is a wing. The windows is larger and flatter than normal and should be easier to fabricate. A wide fuselage need several semicircle strengthening inside for pressurization would tend to inflate it to a circle. This model is tested in XFLR5 to fly stable without trim with a CG calculated as if all was made of one material like for instance foam. If motors was added on top of the back, the cg is to shift. A CAD file with the specially developed slightly positive cm & low drag low Reynolds profiles in position is available as a CAD file. This model is most possibly flyable in a very stable mode. Lots of possible control surfaces is shown. A blended wing ons smaller aircraft can result in a more conventional body than a large plane. Fibonacci design principles is used extensively. All surfaces on wings and fuselage is true aerofoil profiles. CAD file is included with the low moment, low drag aerofoil ribs. For now I omitted engines as I concentrate on sleekness of design (my passion). BWB designs have large advantages like only two wing tips large load capacity and I think it would be the safest plane to land on water in an emergency. On the downside – passengers would have to see what is going on outside via screens while windows on a smaller plane like this one would be small roof-lighting only. - This is a High poly & CAD files version of the model -
