Third attempt on a space ship. Texturing is getting better, not 100% there yet. Same with unwrapping.
This model is carefully created to make sure it's quad based. And 98% or so are quads. I modeled this using subdevision on level 2. U might notice that the model is quite empty. That is for 2 reasons. I created the skeleton...and I'm not a creative type when it comes to filling it up. this gives you the freedom to add to it 100%. That said...there is little detail added to some parts. Details you don't see on the renders. Also I tried to make sure there are no useless faces.
As for textures. The textures are a mix of 4k to 1/5k. 4k for the more obvious textures. 2k for the slighly less obvious. All the way down to 1/5k for small objects.
I custom painted some textures. Mostly the rust to add some more variation. And for the uvs. They shouldnt be overlapping.
If you need a different export, please let me know. I only export my models in fbx and obj. But if requested ill export in whatever you need.
