This is the Boeing/Insitu ScanEagle, designed as an intelligence, surviellance, and reconassaince unmanned aircraft it is widely used with all conventional and special operations forces. Although this model contains a camera, I have purposely not included anything that could be considered proprietary with respect to the manufacturer Boeing and Insitu.
This is a 6th Revision (created on March 11, 2016) with ready to animate elevons, rudder, propellor, and a yaw/bank/pitch camera payload gimbal. This model is comprised almost completely of Quads and is subdivision ready. The design has all the exterior details and quality of the actual aircraft (I personally flew this aircraft in Iraq in 2011 logging over 1500 hours of surveillance time). This model has a clean and easy to use hierarchy with proper pivot locations for control surfaces, prop, and camera animation. Details include a highly detailed engine, static ports on side fuse, fuel plug, transponder antenna, ACHT ducting and shroud, and the model was designed to mimic but not match a slight amount of wingtip washout.
This model is native to Cinema 4D R15 and contains both materials and textures. Each file type is created for best presentation in its respective software. DAE and 3DS models contain a low and high res model (low res subdivision = 0, high res subdivision = 2). Max model has NURMS toggled for each component, and C4D has model set for subdivision level of choice.
Updated on 13Aug 2018 includes a rigged C4D model that has full control over flight controls, camera, prop. Ready to drop into your favorite animation with minimal effort.
NOTE: All renderings were performed using C4D R15 and do not necessarily reflect material renderings in other programs.
