Nakajima Ki44 Tojo type II kou 3D model

Fantastic model. As a military history buff and indie game developer, I love this model (and the other models by fumio-yamazaki. From the technical side, the model geometry is clean and the model with, and separated into several subcomponents, so it is easy to work with. It includes a good bump/normal map and an albedo map. I find it easy to reduce the poly count for game use while starting with the high poly model lets me capture lots of detail. From the history buff side, I was really excited to see Ki-44. During the first half of the war, the Japanese Army Air Force assigned its top and most experienced fighter pilots to the Ki-44 squadrons to take advantage of the Ki-44 performance which emphasized speed and power over low-speed maneuverability like in the Ki-43 and A6M. These squadrons were the biggest challenge to US fighter squadrons in China and the Southwest Pacific because the US fighters could not use asymmetric "boom and zoom" tactics as effectively against the Ki-44. Delighted that I could add this model to my collection.
