The MiG-31 is a Soviet and Russian two-seat supersonic high-altitude all-weather long-range fighter-interceptor. Developed at OKB-155 (now JSC RAC MiG) based on the MiG-25 in the 1970s. The first Soviet combat aircraft of the fourth generation.
