HAL HF-24 Marut

HAL HF-24 Marut 3D model

Description

This is a model of the HAL HF-24 Marut made by me using Blender.

The Marut was the first indegenously developed jet fighter aircraft in India. It was a twin engine fighter bomber with four pylons on the wings carrying up to 1800kg bombs. It had a retractable rocket pack behind the nose landing gear carrying 50 rockets. Although it was designed to reach speeds up to mach 2, but due to underpowered engines it was limited to mach 1. The Marut was used in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war and proved to be a capable ground attack aircraft.

Note:

  • There are different files with the landing gear extended and retracted and are respectively named
  • The materials and rigs are NOT exported with in files other than the .blend one because they were getting mixed up.
  • The necessary decals are in the textures.rar file.
  • Credits for the T-59 in one of the thumbnails: FlashPoint

My computer needed some repairs to be done so I made this on a laptop using 2.79b instead of 3.0+
