Excited to add this model to my collection! Although many navies had experimented with submarine-launched floatplanes in the 1920s and 1930s, only the Imperial Japanese Navy actively used them in WW2. They deployed three types during the war: the E9W, E14Y, and the M6A. This E9W was the first type. The Yokosuka E14Y was replacing it but still equipped many Japanese submarines at the beginning of the war when it was used to reconnoiter ports and islands in Australia, the Pacific, and Southeast Asia. As always, the creator has made a great model that is easy to integrate into my Blender and Unity projects.
