Realistic Model of the CH-53 Military Helicopter.
Modeled and rendered in 3DS MAX 2010 without plugins.
The model has primarily quad (over 96% quad) based topology so you can easily choose the models resolution with a subdivision modifier, like TurboSmooth.
All the models parts and scene helpers are organized via their naming scheme.
The model has many moving parts including the doors, windows, rotors, landing gears, and a folding tail that are linked to helper objects and wired to animation sliders (3ds max2010 format) making it quick and easy to choose the model's pose.
The model is fully detailed inside and out with a full interior and cockpit, all scaled to real life size.
This version includes simple textures (squares of solid color for each color) and simple UV mapping (grouped and overlapped on color map) for the entire model.
Textures are in JPG format (2048x2048 pixels) and include a color, specular, glossiness, transparency and reflection map.
All preview renders show the model with 1 level of subdivision applied, unless marked otherwise.
Remember to check out all the preview renders.
