RC-12Q is built very near to scale, within a few inches of actual general dimensions and fully textured. They are externally detailed and include many animateable features as landing gear, landing gear doors, propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, and rudder. These models are also provided in multiple formats.
The RC-12Q aircraft, referred to as the Direct Air Satellite Relay, consisted of 3 RC-12Ps modified by Raytheon and TRW to act as 'mother ships' to expand the RC-12P's operational area outside satellite footprints. It is improved with Guardrail Common Sensor equipment. These aircraft are used to gather intelligence through interception of enemy electronic signals and relay. They are used to monitor enemy radio and other electronic transmission and signals and relay them to intelligence units for interpretation and analysis.
