The Airbus A400M Atlas is a military transport, high wing monoplane, four-engine turboprop with strategic capabilities. It is larger than the C-130 Hercules and smaller than the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III in size and useful payload. It can also perform air refueling tanker duties and medical evacuation. Its maiden flight was in 2009. It was almost cancelled due to delays and cost overruns but was eventually accepted by the customer nations. 174 of these have been built for eight nations.
The model was built near to scale in real units and built based on drawings, photos, and other documents. This model has a movable cargo door and overhead door, animateable propellers and the following animateable features; ailerons, elevators, rudder, and wheels. These models render very well and look very realistic using good animation, lighting and rendering technique. It can be used in an animated or static position within a scene, animation or animated video, or possibly programming for a flight simulation application. This model was not designed for 3d printing, these are to be used as digital files only.
