T-5 Brave Eagle Taiwan 3D model

T-5 Brave Eagle, Taiwan, one of the Fifth-Generation Advanced Jet Trainer in the world.

On June 22, 2020, the T-5 Brave Eagle Prototype No. 11001 First Flight event was held at the Qingquangang Base in Taichung Taiwan . It is expected that 66 T-5s will be delivered in 2026.

Being encouraged by the grand report of First Flight Show event on TV, I start try to make a 3D model on Blender.T-5 is developed on the basis of F-CK-1 fighter, the appearance of both is similar, so some details refer to F-CK-1.The biggest challenge on making this model is the combination of main body and two engines.

After many failures and remakes, I got the currently acceptable version.On Landing gear, cockpit, texture drawing, etc., I devote more effort than ever, and therefore got many experience.Although I have spent a lot of time on researching some connecting rod transmission mechanisms , but there are still many places remain unclear.What I only can do is to guess, try to follow the mechanism principle to draw. Hopfully , at least , it looks good on appearance.For some applications, without landing gear, a simple streamlined body, and a smaller model file may be more useful. Therefore, a mere flight type version file is created separately.

2023.7.13, I add six main color texture files for different number. With this , you can create a team flight animation as demo video.
