DESCRIPTION

The Global 6000 is a business jet that has a long history of development and innovation. It is the third generation of the Global Express, which was introduced in 1996. The Global 6000 has a large cabin that can accommodate 11-12 passengers and four crew members, and can fly up to 13,700 meters high. It has a speed of Mach 0.85 and a range of about 11,100 km. The Global 6000 shares its fuselage with the Challenger 600, but has a new wing and tail that improve its performance and comfort in turbulent flights. The Global 6000 also has more space for the passengers and cargo than the original Global Express; was designed by Bombardier Aerospace, which acquired Canadair along with its Challenger 600 business jet in 1986. Bombardier studied a longer range business aircraft that could carry eight passengers and four crew over 12,000 km at Mach 0.85. A joint team of engineers from Canadair, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, BMW Rolls-Royce, and other partners worked on the project for several years. The first flight of the Global Express took place on October 13, 1996
