De Havilland Tigermoth

De Havilland Tigermoth 3D model

Description

Note: Verticy and Face counts are with subsurf

This model Consists of lots of detail and a Gipsy III engine. The gauge textures were costum made in PS. This model uses Subsurf modifiers for most of it so it can be converted to a lower or high poly count as desired. I did my best to add a lot of the fine details such as the control lines, rigging, wing root mounts, and all the nuts and bolts that go allong with those items. All the control surfaces and cowling parts are seperated but not rigged.

The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth is a 1930s British biplane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and built by the de Havilland Aircraft Company. It was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and many other operators as a primary trainer aircraft. In addition to the type's principal use for ab-initio training, the Second World War saw RAF Tiger Moths operating in other capacities, including maritime surveillance and defensive anti-invasion preparations; some aircraft were even outfitted to function as armed light bombers.
