Detailed model of the Wright brother's 1903 Kitty Hawk aircraft.
Geometry and Rigging
The model contains 110,872 vertices and 109,344 faces. There are two rigged controllers, one that can be used to animate the propellers, and one that can be used to animate the flight control surfaces (the elevator, rudder, wing warping, as well the related movements of the pilot figure).
Note: While the skeleton and vertex weights are available in all formats, only the native Blender format retains the fully rigged controls
Materials and Textures
The model uses four PRB materials - one for the pilot, one for the engine, and the other two for the main structure. The model is fully unwrapped with non-overlapping UVs. Each material comes with five texture maps - base colour, ambient occlusion, metallic, roughness, and normal. The pilot and engine maps are all 2k, the structure maps are all 4k. UK layouts are also included.
Note: The .glb formats comes wiht combines metallic/roughness maps with the roughness values in the green channel and metallic values in the blue
